About the Event
As you’ll be aware this year, we are holding the event on the 14th October, we hope this will allow for a more relaxed event where we won’t have to worry about timings for the 7pm candle lighting.
We plan to leave The Boathouse for our Lantern walk at 6pm, if you’d like to grab a drink beforehand, please arrive with plenty of time. The Boathouse will be serving drinks from 5:30pm. This will also give you a chance to collect your lantern.
When we return to The Boathouse after our walk there will be buffet food available inside, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can try to cater for this.
We will aim to light our candles at around 7pm and hold a short silence. Everyone is welcome to stay afterwards to eat, drink and chat.
All family members are welcome, please dress appropriately for the weather as there is only limited seating inside the boathouse.
